The Stradivatango project brings together two exceptional Canadian artists: Stéphane Tétreault, recognized as the prodigy of the cello, and Denis Plante, a leading figure of the bandoneon in Canada. Together, they explore the world of tango with unmatched passion and virtuosity. Their repertoire consists of Argentine tango classics as well as works specially composed for their unique duo. Their performances alternate between intimate oments and explosive passages, capturing the full emotional richness of tango, from its mesmerizing melancholy to its effervescent energy.
Their interpretations are marked by a constant quest for authenticity and creativity, offering the audience a musical experience that is both profound and unforgettable.

Le projet Stradivatango réunit deux artistes canadiens exceptionnels : Stéphane Tétreault, reconnu comme l’enfant prodige du violoncelle, et Denis Plante, figure incontournable du bandonéon au Canada. Ensemble, ils explorent l’univers du tango avec une passion et une virtuosité inégalées. Leur répertoire se compose de classiques du tango argentin ainsi que d’œuvres spécialement composées pour leur duo unique. Leurs performances alternent entre des moments intimistes et des passages explosifs, capturant toute la richesse émotionnelle du tango, de sa mélancolie envoûtante à son énergie effervescente.
