Kerson Leong continues to win over colleagues and audiences alike with \u201ca mixture of spontaneity and mastery, elegance, fantasy, [and] intensity that makes his sound recognizable from the first notes\u201d (Le Monde).<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Recent season highlights include solo performances with such ensembles as the Royal, Oslo, Brussels, Kansai, and Li\u00e8ge Royal Philharmonic Orchestras; the Seattle, Singapore, Toledo, Montreal, Tucson,\u00a0Bilkent, Toronto, Vancouver, Stavanger, and Wuppertal Symphony Orchestras; a recital tour of the Midwestern United States; and a recording of John Rutter\u2019s Visions with the composer himself and the Aurora Chamber Orchestra, following its world premiere in London, UK.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As a sought-after soloist, he was hand-picked by Yannick N\u00e9zet-S\u00e9guin to serve as artist-in-residence with the Orchestre M\u00e9tropolitain during the 2018\u20132019 season and has performed in such prestigious venues as Carnegie Hall\u2019s Stern Auditorium, Wigmore Hall, the Auditorium du Louvre, and the National Center for the Performing Arts in Beijing.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
