How can we create a rich\, full sound with the limitation of just four mallets? \nWe will discuss when traditional harmonic rules can strengthen a composition\, as well as when they can be deliberately ignored. She previously toured with Hans Zimmer Live\, which can be seen on the DVD Live in Prague. Hans Zimmer invited Lucy\, together with Igudesman & Joo\, to perform at the release of his new documentary Hollywood Rebel\, by performing special arrangements of his film scores at BBC Studios in Cannes. \nLucy has since been featured as a performer and composer on numerous TV and Radio stations showcasing her unique work\, including Sky TV with Michael Parkinson\, Deutsche Welle\, BBC 2\, BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge\, BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 3 among many others. L’ensemble est dirigé et façonné par son directeur artistique et chef principal\, Michael Zaugg.  \nFondé en 1981 par le chef canadien Michel Marc Gervais\, Pro Coro Canada a vu son identité sonore se développer sous l’influence de certains des plus grands chefs de chœur au monde\, dont Gervais\, Anders Eby (Suède)\, Søren Hansen (Danemark)\, Agnes Grossmann (Autriche) et Richard Sparks (États-Unis).  \nLe chœur est particulièrement fier de son programme de compositeur en résidence avec le compositeur de renommée internationale Alberto Grau\, de son rôle en tant que corps professoral au programme d’art choral du Banff Centre\, ainsi que de ses tournées acclamées par la critique à travers quatre provinces. Pro Coro Canada s’engage fortement à bâtir des liens communautaires grâce à des partenariats aux niveaux local\, provincial et national\, tout en soutenant la relève artistique par l’entremise de son programme Emerging Artist\, qui contribue au développement des chanteurs\, compositeurs et chefs de chœur.  \n  \n  \nSt. Matthew’s Anglican Church \nAir conditioned! | Air climatisé!

We have a fantastic roster of performers all waiting for you to decide what they will play! \nE-mail us with what you’d like to hear played at the Closing Celebration of the Festival and tell us why you’ve picked it. We’re looking for the stories behind why you love this piece of music. \nIf your music and story is selected for this concert\, you will win ten tickets to invite friends and family. There will also be one Grand Prize Winner who will win two passes to the 2027 Music and Beyond festival. \nRules to enter: \nPlease suggest a piece of music for us to include and why you would like to hear it. It can be for one player or many players\, including for orchestra or for choir.
